Don’t start shivering yet – hear me out. Yes, Iceland might get some cold weather, but the southern regions are actually quite a bit more mild; thanks Gulf Stream!

With that said, the colder months will obviously be the best off-season months to adventure around here. Try coming during early fall or around the spring time while the weather is still pleasant enough to enjoy yourself.

The summertime is short, so the hoards come while they can, and since businesses can hike up prices, they do. Your pockets will thank you for visiting during the off season.

If you’re into the cultural scene, you will find that during your off-season travels too. The locals often have more cultural performances and events during the fall and winter months, so that’s an added treat for your off-season savvy self.
