This gorgeous 83 mile loop road has become a mecca for leaf peepers since the aspen trees here turn both bright yellow and brilliant, deep orange. While the aspens might be the stars of the show, the purples, reds, and yellows of other indigenous trees create a wonderfully colorful backdrop upon which to enjoy them.

Between late September and early October is the best time to see the fullness of color in this area but there is still plenty to see through Columbus Day weekend and after.
