Tunnel of Trees

Tunnel of Trees – Michigan

This is a popular tourist area in Michigan – particularly for motorcycle riders – situated within a part of the 27.5-mile M-119. It is referred to as the Tunnel of Trees due to the heavy canopies of foliage.

The area is mostly visited during autumn when the foliage changes in color and opens up presenting scenic views of Lake Michigan. It is known to have been inhabited by the Ottawa Indians as well as traders, loggers, and hunters. It can be a very exciting place for motorcycle riders.
