Pig Trail Scenic Byway – Arkansas

This 19-mile byway covering a part of the Arkansas Highway stretches through heart-rending views of steep hills, drop-offs, and switchbacks that run through the heart of Ozark National Forest.

There are various theories and claims that the road was named after the U of A football team. Attraction spots in the area include recreational activities such as camping, rafting, and kayaking, among many others.

This area is mostly visited during spring when the wildflowers bloom, and in the fall when the leaves begin turning autumn colors.
