1. The biggest enemy to most diets isn’t calories, it’s sugar. Do what you can to eliminate it from the equation or at least cut back as far as you possibly can.

2. Eat a protein-rich breakfast with a minimum of carbs or sweets. Have an orange instead of orange juice. Your body was made to handle fruit juice in small amounts and it wants fiber to process it. If you have a 12 ounce glass of OJ with your breakfast, you might as well be drinking a can of cola. Oh, and ditch the toast, too, unless you are also having an unusual amount of protein (like 6 eggs – and, really, don’t do that).
